Meeting in Plaquemines tonight to discuss bringing debris into parish from Chicago
This is laughable, I am sure there is money involved in this deal that the parish could use, but why would any south Louisiana Parish want to import construction debris from Chicago. I guess the label Debrisville has given folks in Chicago the impression that we want their construction crap. I just don’t get it, there has to be a better way for Plaquemines parish to raise money than to import construction debris.

I would imagine construction debris from Chicago would be better than all of the white goods that were set on fire at that same landfill, after Katrina, that is….if they keep it to just construction debris.
