Ther are plenty of news items to blog about in New Orleans right now. The Mayor is starting to look like a crook, a council person doesn’t know how to use spell checkers, murder is in the news every day. But this is the same stuff that happens here all the time. It is hard to blog about it and keep it fresh. Hurricane season is almost upon us, it doesn’t seem to draw the same amount of attention this year that it has for the past four. I am finally back to a routine life, I spent the weekend at home and have been getting some exercise again. Ho Hum, doesn’t anything exciting ever happen in this town?

The mayor…what can I say….every time he opens his mouth, I just want to cringe.
I know it is such a sad story, he gives his last State of the City Message tonight. If we can hold our noses a little longer, maybe we can get better leadership out of the next election.
YOu know, I didn’t even listen…I couldn’t. I did read some of what he said, but you are right…hopefully we can’t get worse.
