Monday was one of those days where nothing went smoothly for me. I took the car in for service, wound up waiting a couple of hours before I found out that it would be a couple of more hours before it was ready. Made it to work a couple of hours late, I had a pile of work waiting for me when I got there and had to play catch up all day. Picked up the car later in the day, on the way home someone pulled out in front of me, I missed hitting her by about 6 inches, that not an exageration it was close. With a heat index of 107 derees on monday, I still went for a bike ride, I needed stress releif. After about thirty minutes on the levee I felt like I was basting in the 35 SPF sun block I was wearing. I imagined I was a Turkey in a broiler on Thanksgiving day. By the time I got home my stress was definitely gone. It took a couple of hours and a lot of water to cool off. Topped the day off wit a couple of beers thinking to myself that tomorrow would be a better day.
